I always find it difficult to critique my own work as once it is written I have invested so much of my time and emotional energy that it’s difficult to be objective. And, of course, there are inevitably some lines I’ve convinced myself are great but don’t work when read by an objective and professional reviewer!

Stuart provided insightful and helpful feedback to my empirical economics dissertation. He was extremely thorough but gave me feedback quickly which was essential for my dissertation deadline. I was using technical economic and econometric jargon and Stuart was keen to understand it so he could make sure that the sentences made sense.
